The Importance of Preschool Children’s Portfolios in Kosovo and Their Meaning for Elementary School Teachers

As a transition country, Kosovo faces many problems and challenges, especially in the field of preschool education. an issue early childhood education, among new forms child labor documentation, portfolios are mentioned. Teachers build rich picture each child, combining strategies such as using traditional tools study (for example, observations, anecdotal records, checklists) with newer documentation technologies photos, portfolios, recorded conversations (New & Cochran, 2007).
